The infra red sauna - How can you find out if it is for you?

You hear a lot about the health benefits of the far infrared sauna when taken on a regular basis. But unfortunately the fact is that we are not all the same and will not get the same benefits. Some who suffer from greasy skin or acne find that taking a regular sauna more or less clears the problem. For others the benefit is not so marked.

I suffer from aching joints especially after some physical activity like gardening or DIY. I find that taking a sauna after the activity eases the pain and stops the steadily increasing pain in my joints. But will it work for you?

The infared sauna - How can you find out if it is for you?

Well it makes good sense to try before you buy. If you have a friend who has a sauna then why not invite yourself round to give it a try. Quite often they will love to show of their far infrared sauna to you.

However net everyone will feel comfortable about taking a sauna with a friend unless it is a close friend. So the best thing to do is find your local health club and get yourself booked in for a session. The best way to do this is to treat yourself to a 1/2 day of pampering (why not!) and you can get a massage, sauna and a facial at the same time. The downside of this is that it is only one session and you are being pampered so you will always feel good when you come out!

So the other alternative is to check out the local gym or fitness centres. Many offer sauna facilities to members. So see if you can sign up for a small number of sessions in their infrared sauna. You may be able to buy individual sessions however the cost will be higher than if you buy a fixed number. Give them a call and discuss your requirements. If they are any good at all they will try to accommodate you.
