Buying Stamps - A Major Inconvenience

You wouldn’t think it would be so hard to buy stamps, but around here it is apparently something I’m not supposed to do. There are many times when I have needed to get a card out on time, or when I had a stack of Christmas cards to go out. I know you can buying stamps online but this is not an option for me, so I must rely on the good nature of my husband. The problem with him is that if it is not something for him, he really couldn’t care less. Nothing, and I mean nothing, ever goes out on time and it is because I can’t buy stamps.

I should go buy stamps in large quantities, but my husband always says that we can’t afford it that week. It’s really getting on my nerves. We don’t pay our bills via the mail, that’s at least one good thing or we wouldn’t have gas or electric at this point. He will go the post office for me on occasion, but the time he has for that is apparently rare. I guess I am just going to have to hijack the car once a month and buy stamps in large quantities without talking to him about if first. Otherwise, you can expect my Christmas card to arrive mid June if you are lucky.
